Cameron's Links
This will probably seem really random, but I think I'd like to see a McCain-Romney presidential campaign ticket for 2008. Who do you want?
Posted by charr at 11:38 AMI think I agree with all your sentiments. I think a Romney presidency would be interesting, but I think he lacks some experience and some name recognition, as well as being a Mormon. I think if he can slide in as a VP, it will give hime the first two and make the third point less of an issue come 2016.
Posted by Cameron at November 30, 2006 9:43 PMHi Cameron,Bush/Bush vs Clinton/Clinton would be fun, not to say Hillaryous :-) , or maybe Schwarzy could bring
some action into the campain ...Cheers,Gilles
I'd rather it be the other way around: Romney/McCain, but that's highly unlikely. Both Gulliani and McCain have anger management and liberal social issues to overcome as Republicans, and 20% of voters in a WSJ poll said they would not vote for a Mormon, so it will be interesting to see how it all plays out. If Hillary runs, a Republican ticket will be a shoo in. If Barack Obama runs on his own or someone else's ticket, it may be a horse race.
